Footage from Ferguson emerges as the city is engulfed in rioting and protests


A jury decided on Monday that police officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri will not face any charges.

The killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown in August of this year sparked mass protests and rioting, and the recent development has seen a repeat of the looting and violence that followed the initial shooting.

President Obama has urged for calm following the ruling, however the National Guard have been deployed to the Ferguson area to deal with the social upheaval, while many people have been documenting the scenes of unrest.

Streets were filled with tear-gas as police tried to disperse the protesters.

Several journalists were caught in the tear gas while attempting to report on the disturbance.
