Quebec hip hop crew takes America’s Got Talent by storm

LÉVIS, QUEBEC – Fans of DM Nation are holding their breath until next Tuesday’s episode of America’s Got Talent.

The dance crew from Quebec is hoping to advance to the next round.

Last June, the girls impressed the judges – model Heidi Klum, TV host Howie Mandel, the Spice Girls‘ Melanie Brown and radio personality Howard Stern – with their clean, jagged hip hop performance and obtained a pass to go to the next round.

“We’re very excited for everybody here, our family and our friends and just everybody here in Quebec, to see the next round,” said dancer Imane Marzouk.

“We’re very excited for people’s reaction, it was an amazing experience.”

Artistic Director Marie-Odile Haince-Lebel founded District Mao (DM) when she was just 19.

Now, the dance studio is celebrating its tenth anniversary.

“It’s a big year for us,” she said.
